Mentor Coaching is a great way to further develop your coaching skills and competency.

Mentor Coaching is a requirement in renewing your ACC credential with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

An important note: If you are renewing your ACC but have been trained to the PCC level (but have not yet completed your 500 hours of coaching experience) and thus want your coaching to be evaluated at a PCC level, you may be interested in Mentor Coaching for your PCC credential instead. (If there's not a next training scheduled yet, it will show on this webpage once we confirm dates and times.)

ELCA Coaching offers ICF-accredited Mentor Coaching, which includes:

A minimum of eight (8) hours of group mentor coaching

  • Everyone is in the coach seat at least once AND is in the client seat at least once.
  • During the 8+ hours together, when you are not coaching, you benefit by listening to others coach, hear the feedback they receive from the mentor coach, offer feedback to the coach, and can ask questions.

AND three (3) individual mentor coaching sessions

  • These individual mentor coaching sessions are scheduled with one of our mentor coaches after the classes are completed.
  • Each individual mentor coaching session is one hour in length.

Minimum of 4 students required to hold this training. Maximum of 8 students allowed.

(Our ICF-accredited coach training partner is Coaching at End of Life and Dr. Don Eisenhauer, MCC.)
