We’ve all been there – that sense of overwhelm. Maybe you’re in transition and feeling disoriented. Or you’re leading a team that’s struggling. Or you’re stressed because your days simply aren’t long enough. You’ve tried various tactics with little improvement. Sometimes you even wonder if it’s all worth it…
That’s when coaching makes a difference. As your leadership coach, I’ll work with you to clarify what’s getting in your way, make a plan, and review your success in carrying it out. I partner with individuals and teams to get unstuck and move forward. And, in our sessions,Spirit/Wisdom is our companion.
I became a leadership coach after practicing dispute mediation, environmental law, and nonprofit management. I have extensive experience with boards of directors, committees, and church councils. To deepen my coaching skills, I’ve earned credentials from the International Coaching Federation, Narrative Coach Program, and grief/loss coaching. I’m a member of the Pacifica Synod Coaching team that presents monthly Zoom forums on topics of interest to church leaders. I’m a San Diegan who transplanted years ago from Wisconsin, and I love both places. I enjoy creating watercolor and digital art, reading mysteries, and being in nature.

The ELCA's offices are located on the ancestral homelands of the Peoria, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Myaamia (Miami), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux), Hoocąk (Ho-Chunk), and Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo) tribal nations. We give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial.
