Rev. Chienyu Jade Yi received a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and a Master of Art degree in TESOL and Intercultural Studies Program from Wheaton Graduate School. Jade is bilingual in English and Chinese, and a missionary and evangelist at heart and has been involved in coaching practices since 2010. She has been a Parish Pastor for about 14 years in many congregations in Metro Chicago synod in the past and an Interim Care Pastor in the Northwest Washington Synod these days.
Jade is a Segment II coach trained in Mission Development (Vitality) and in Discipleship through the ELCA, Team Coaching through Coach Net. She is also a Board-Certified Master Mental Health Coach. Currently, she is actively coaching in the Northwest Washington Synod and taking the course from the ELCA for the coming 10 months, Coaching for Leaders, and is preparing to be an associate certified coach in fall 2024.
