Sue (she/her) finds it invigorating to assist clients as they more clearly define their goals for the future and then implement them. This is one of the reasons she loves coaching which she has been doing since 2009 when she started as a coach for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Board of Pensions Journey of Renewal program. Since then, she has served as a coach for the Episcopal Church Foundation, International Coaching Federation’s (ICF) Philadelphia Chapter Ignite and Women’s Way programs, the Pennsylvania Conference for Women and a variety of individual clients. In 2018, she obtained ICFs Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.
Sue was ordained as a pastor in the Lutheran Church in America (LCA) in 1983. She has served in a variety of capacities including: co-pastor of a three-church parish and co-campus pastor with her spouse, bridge pastor and interim pastor.
She married Pastor Tom Lang, now retired, in 1981, and they have two adult daughters.
Sue welcomes the opportunity to walk with you as you more clearly define your goals and put them into action. Visit her website at www.revwriter.com and contact her at sue@revwriter.com so you can begin your journey together.
Cultivating Your Calling
Coaches connect dreams to concrete actions that create change for individuals and congregations.
The ELCA's offices are located on the ancestral homelands of the Peoria, Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Myaamia (Miami), Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux), Hoocąk (Ho-Chunk), and Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo) tribal nations. We give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial.
