"We have to trust that our stories have to be told. We may discover that the better we tell our stories the better we will want to live them." - Henri Nouwen
Each of us has a story of how we came to church and live into our faith. These stories are powerful and give us a chance to draw folks in our communities into deeper relationship. We have all seen how stories can connect us to each other and help us to explore more about ourselves and those around us. Join us as we share aspects of our own faith connections and learn about a way to gather personal faith stories through a simple podcast format. It will also be a time to learn more about our ELCA ministry of Mission Interpretation and ways to connect with other stories across our greater church.
We heard from two avid story engagers: Karen Kretschmann, ELCA National Coordinator for Mission Interpretation & Former Delaware-Maryland Synod Director for Evangelical Mission, and Nick Kiger, ELCA Director for Mission Support.
We invite you to bring a spirit of curiosity to these gatherings and to all aspects of your life. What are you noticing? Where is Spirit moving? How are you being invited to participate?
