On January 18, we learned about the Family & Friends Gathering: "It's church with a different flavor." We heard from Deb Squires, pastor for Family & Friends Gathering (a mission development of the ELCA) and associate pastor of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Everett, WA, and Erin Newsome, mother of three young, energetic boys; her family has been part of Family & Friends Gathering since it started in 2018.
More about Deb: "She’s old! A grandma! And she loves to get giggly and wiggly with little kids whenever she can."
More about Erin: "A former teacher, she is on the FFG Leadership Team. As her boys have grown, so too has their faith and engagement in the church community."
We invite you to bring a spirit of curiosity to these gatherings and to all aspects of your life. What are you noticing? Where is Spirit moving? How are you being invited to participate?
